yesterday's blackout caused quite a stir
i was happily (okay, not really happily)
doing my amaths work while jamie yeo rattled on endlessly on the radio
until suddenly..THE LIGHTS WENT OUT
followed by the radio and finally my beloved air con.
immediately i thought of the nassim road blackout and grabbed my only source of light.
my hp :)
went outside with my siblings to find out that my entire estate was plunged into darkness
jacqueline was screaming across to her friend across street,
while janice went to look for a torch light.
so scary outside, no street lamps even
tried calling my parents who were pumping petrol
but no reception.
when they finally got home, our auto gate cldn't open
so they had to climb in.
hah! my mother can't climb for nuts.
then they were telling us how dark the roads were and there were no traffic lights at all.
took my hp and used the radio to find out tt almost 50% of singapore blackout.
well done singapore.
too bad it wasn't long enough.
abt 20-30mins later, all the lights popped back.
so today morning at sch, we were all talking abt it
had 4 free periods got jy nt in sch.
sat with kim to study abit before we started our first H.S meeting
12inches!! sure have one!! at least its better than 2inches.
kim is so innocent and naive
played some polar bear game with clar and all during recess
so retarded, gerry destroyed the whole game.
had amaths retest after school
going to fail again
i can just see it.
